Why we’re reaching out Our son is 19 months old, currently being looked after by his Mum and a wonderful nanny. Our nanny is setting up as a childminder in her new home, which is too far for us to drive to; and so she’ll stop looking after T at the end of November. T is registered at a nursery as a back-up option; but we would much prefer to find a nanny or childminder to take over. - ## Days we need help When our nanny leaves at the end of November, we are seeking a nanny or childminder to look after T 3 or 4 days per week. Our preferred days and times will be Monday, Wednesday and Thursday ideally, from 8am-5.30pm. (We can flex these days and times if need be.) We may also be interested in some full or half-days on Tuesdays and Fridays, and could start those either now or later. We’d consider working with two different nannies or childminders on different days if needed, or joining a waiting list. - ## About us We are a married couple, English and French. We met in London 10 years ago and moved to St Neots 3 years ago. Emily is a civil servant, Jean-Francois is a software engineer. We both work from home. We love being part of the Loves Farm community in St Neots, and our hobbies include photography, paddle boarding, walking in nature and dancing. Our toddler T is 19 months, bilingual French and English, happy, bubbly and adventurous. He adores running around our local playgrounds, but also enjoys quieter activities like drawing and reading. He’s trusting and comfortable with new people. You’re very welcome to get in touch with our outgoing nanny to know what her experience has been like in our home and looking after T. We really had a wonderful 14 months together. - ## Our parenting values: - We encourage T to develop independence and are inspired by Montessori (we use Lovevery toys and are buying a learning tower). - We are attentive to T’s cues and provide as much nurture as we can - e.g. breastfeeding, baby-led weaning, and gentle sleep techniques. - We set boundaries with T in a positive, encouraging way that’s firm when needed (e.g. when crossing roads). Our favourite parenting book is “How To Talk So Little Kids Will Listen”.

Hello, I am searching for a nanny to take care of our 2 year old daughter on Tuesdays Wednesdays and Thursdays at our home , roughly 8:30-17:30, but can be a bit flexible. Our priority is someone who will be excited to teach, engage her in activities and help our daughter grow. Some light tidying up, and maybe making a meal 1-2 days a week would be preferable.
