We are a friendly family looking for some extra help to give a tired mum a few hours to get things done (or have a nap!). We are looking for a kind and fun person to care for and entertain our 7-month-old baby for 2-3 hours in the afternoon a few days a week. Exact hours can be negotiated. Experience with babies is essential but this is not a sole charge role. I will be around in the house (as will my husband most days, in our home office). We are looking for someone who will bring energy and fun to our afternoons and who will use their initiative to think of and plan appropriate activities in the house and garden. Some light housekeeping will be included, eg clearing up after mealtimes, tidying toys. Option of extra hours cleaning if desired. Initially, we are looking for help until September or perhaps October/November as I return to work and arrange more formal childcare. For a suitably qualified person, we may consider continuing with a more formal sole charge arrangement. There is a lot of flexibility in days, hours, duration and role for the right person. Pay negotiable based on experience. Self-employed only.
