Taiwanese competent in Mandarin/Chinese at all levels and subjects taught before high school!
|
Hello, my name is Chanel, currently studying nursing at the UofA. For teaching experiences, I taught a third-grade elementary school student math and English for a year while I was studying in an International Baccalaureate school. I was chosen as a member of the National Honor Society, and my duty was to teach 3rd-grade students English by reading books and creating activities twice a week. I also volunteered at the Red Cross club and Zonta club from 2014 to 2018, which both helped me to interact with clients, patients, orphans, and older adults. Thirdly, I learned to communicate and practiced patience from my volunteering experience at a Spine & Orthopedic Hospital in Taiwan. Last but not least, I also worked as a server in summer 2020 when I went back to Taiwan to gain working experience. Mandarin/Chinese is my first language, so I have the ability to teach it at any level. For other subjects, like math, science, and English, I have no issues and have full confidence in teaching kids before middle school! Please feel free to reach out to me if interested!
