| I've cared for large dog breeds including American Bull Terriers, Golden Retrievers, and Huskies, as well as small dog breeds such as Pomeranians, Shih Tzus, and Pugs. I use positive reinforcement for training, and enjoy spending time walking, grooming, and playing with dogs. I have spent a lot of time with all breeds of cats, also; I own a single indoor cat who is special needs, who gets along with every animal he has ever come across, making pet sitting a bit easier on the animal for their stay. I also use positive reinforcement with cats for tricks, and enjoy extensive hunting/pouncing play with them, and grooming (this includes a teeth cleaning routine!). I have experience with ferrets and their boundless energy and capability for mischief. Play time and positive reinforcement is a must for these critters! I enjoy cleaning their cages and giving them hours upon hours of free range, supervised play. Pet sitting is becoming more than just a hobby for me, as it truly is my passion, and something I would one day love to make a permanent business from. I believe animals in our life are family, and should be treated with dignity, love and adequate care.

A caregiver tryna give some love and care
| I own a pet turtle, 2 dogs, a cat, many fish, a gecko, and have had many more so I truly have a lot of knowledge with animals. Dogs are my expertise, I’ve trained many friends’ dogs and my own, I love them to death and go out of my way to know they’re getting the best care possible. My pet turtle, Philip, was my first pet that was solely my responsibility and so I put a lot of research into his care and know a lot about turtles and aquariums in general. I also have good knowledge of fish care, cat care, reptile care, and bird care as I own or have owned all of these animals. I LOVE walking, especially with dogs, so I’m totally willing to walk any distance I feel the dog might need. In terms of grooming I’m only experienced with basic bathing and brushing dogs. I have been pet sitting for the past 6 years and have excellent references if needed. If you are comfortable with having a stay in or day care/night care at my residence in Edmonton I am okay with whatever you are most comfortable with! I live a very active lifestyle and am only working part time at the moment so I fill my days with mostly running, biking, and walking all around Edmonton's River Valley and Parks so if you have a pet that needs to be regularly walked I'm excited!!
