I've cared for large dog breeds including American Bull Terriers, Golden Retrievers, and Huskies, as well as small dog breeds such as Pomeranians, Shih Tzus, and Pugs. I use positive reinforcement for training, and enjoy spending time walking, grooming, and playing with dogs. I have spent a lot of time with all breeds of cats, also; I own a single indoor cat who is special needs, who gets along with every animal he has ever come across, making pet sitting a bit easier on the animal for their stay. I also use positive reinforcement with cats for tricks, and enjoy extensive hunting/pouncing play with them, and grooming (this includes a teeth cleaning routine!). I have experience with ferrets and their boundless energy and capability for mischief. Play time and positive reinforcement is a must for these critters! I enjoy cleaning their cages and giving them hours upon hours of free range, supervised play. Pet sitting is becoming more than just a hobby for me, as it truly is my passion, and something I would one day love to make a permanent business from. I believe animals in our life are family, and should be treated with dignity, love and adequate care.
