My academic journey in Biomedical Engineering is driven by a passion for leveraging technology to address healthcare challenges. I earned my Bachelor's degree at Anna University, gaining a solid foundation in biomedical sciences. Subsequently, I pursued a Master's degree at the University of Ottawa, and I am currently working on my Ph.D. at Carleton University. My research interests include Health Data Visualization, Information Visualization, and AI in healthcare.
During my undergraduate studies, I worked as a home tutor for K-12 students for four years. In Canada, I continued teaching as a teaching assistant and worked as a STEM tutor for K-12 students with companies like Paper, Wiingy, and TutorBright. I also tutored university students in STEM and computer science.
My ambition to become a professor is fueled by a long-standing interest in teaching and helping students succeed. Throughout my academic career, I have collaborated with professors to structure courses and have consistently kept updated with the latest teaching methods.
