Special Needs Care in Port Coquitlam

| I have over eight years of experience working with children from infant and toddler, ages 3-5, and school age. I graduated with my Early Childhood Education diploma, along with my Infant and Toddler and Special Needs. I have experience working with children who have autism and those who display challenging behaviours.

| I am looking for some evening and weekend work and currently running a small family daycare Monday to Thursday and tutor a non verbal 17 year old in English on Fridays.

| I have worked with children of varying abilities for over 10 years. I currently work full time as a Behavioural Interventionist with children and youth on the Autism Spectrum. I am currently pursuing my Masters in ABA. I love working with kids of all ages!

I am patient and understand the fundamentals of helping with the needs of people with autism. I'm very passionate about dedicating my time to seeing an individual with autism develop and grow. I work with children and adults with autism. I like to keep daily records/reports of behavior changes and any other observations so parents and behavior interventionists can always look back on.

| I used to teach martial arts and worked with a special needs boy doing that, at a daycare with a kindergarten boy with special needs and at other daycares too, as well as with a 8 year old girl after school at a daycare working 1 on 1 with her

| I have a certificate in Special Education Assistance and experience working as a SEA in the school district. I enjoy working with children and love doing creative activities with them, such as art, cooking, and baking. I am innovative and think outside the box, adapting to different children and their specific needs.
