Senior Care in Napanee

| I am offering companionship services to a senior in need. I currently work as a recreation professional in a long term care facility, and have been doing so for the past 8 years. I have experience working with seniors of varying cognitive and physical abilities, and I am able to adapt to their needs. I am not trained as a personal care worker, but I can do basic grooming and dressing, as well as domestic duties and companionship. I am trained in CPR and first aid.

I have a strong love for elderly, I think they are the sweetest. I currently work part time in a Long Term Care home but I want to expand to home care for extra income, more flexibility and most importantly more quality time with the individual I am working with. Relationships are the biggest factor with PSW-client care, it makes all the difference when you and you’re client have a good bond, if makes work feel like it’s fun! It’s like being with your best friend all day. I see how the decline that comes with age affects people and their lives, and I just try to help them make the best of the rest of their lives!!!
