Caring for a dog is like therapy
|
I've had 2 dogs growing up. The first one's name was Oscar and he was a Boston Terrier with a lot of ######.### second, I named her Frida. She was a miniature poodle. Later on, my sister had a boyfriend who had a pitbull, Gibson, and he's one reason I don't scare from this breed or other large dogs. I would take him for 2hr-long walks and pet him when he finally tamed down. I dog-sat a friends dogs for a week once. They are a large mixed breed of Rottweiler and I think Labrador. They always loved to see me and I would play with them and their toys around the house and take them for walks. Lastly, as a note-worthy experience, my sister got herself an adorable Dachshund rescue a couple years back and my sister and I started living together not long after so I basically became her other mother. I work as a receptionist in a hotel part-time so I have 4 free days a week where I enjoy cooking, working out, art, projects, etc and have quite a bit of free time. Walking dogs would make me very happy as it is one more reason to get out of the house in the cold winter!! Hope to hear from you soon!
