Dog Walker Lake Country

| I was a professional dog handler for the CKC conformation shows for 15 years. I am very passionate about animals so I loved this hobby, I handled the Cardigan Corgis and had two of my own. Now that they have passed on, I'm not in the position to get a puppy. I want to devote my time to your pets instead! If I can brighten the day of any animal, it's a great day for me! I’m mainly focused on daily dog walks and drop-in’s. For my clients I also offer overnight vacation care. When I come for an overnight stay, I often bring my nine-year-old son (if he’s with me that week) or I request that my husband come along too, so that we can be together while caring for your pets. I find that way it’s easier to spend the most time at the home, which is best for the animals. If a dog is not child-friendly and/or the accommodations/circumstances are not appropriate for more than one person, I can most certainly can come alone.

| I grew up with cats and dogs from a baby! We mainly had medium sized dogs but i have 2.5 years experience with a German shepherd as well, whom i have socialized from scratch at the ripe age of 6! i also have experience helping my mom raise a puppy for 10 months. i currently do not have any pets nor can i have any at my home, but i would love to come to your own home where the dog/cat is most comfortable! I will brush him/her during the overnight stay, take them to dog parks, socialize them, work on training, take them for walks, hikes, and always start with their most familiar locations/routes then try something new later on! I have experience with applying eye drops and i can follow any instructions for administering any medications! i will spend most of the hours in a day with your pet during the day and night, especially in the beginning so they get to know me!

| I'm pretty new to this field, but I am willing to learn as much as I can! I do have pets of my own back home (2 cats) and I used to dog walk for family/friends in my free time, although its been a while since I've done it. I will take care of your pets like they are my own and give them all the love that they need!

| I currently work as an accredited dog trainer as well. I have experience with dogs, cats, fish, small animals, and even some amphibians! These are all pets I have had in my lifetime. Sometimes multiple at once. I am open to walking, sitting, or coming over to feed your pet as needed.
