I grew up having pets of many kinds, fish, birds, mice, rabbit, dogs. I have raised 2 dogs, cat & Paraquita bird, all from babies & rescues while living in Mexico & became a volunteer animal rescuer/advocate. I volunteered at a local vets who worked with an Organization raising money to spay /neuter abandoned street dogs/cats. We cared for the animals, ran weekly adoption clinics, fostering many of them. I brought motherless kittens home, hand fed them every 3 hrs., went far into very poor barrios with a friend taking food/water to neglected street dogs/cats. I rescued my baby bird, Lucy who was stolen from the nest in the mountains. She had no feathers yet, had to be eye dropper fed every 2 hrs & kept incubated in a warm box. She grew to be a beautiful bird. I have a female Xoloitzcuintli (Mexican Hairless) dog named Chula from Mexico & 2 yrs ago rescued a stray cat named Maddison & they are best friends. I love helping/caring for animals, what better way to do that than work for owners who need responsible assistance with their fur babies, whether your at work/on vacation. I know only too well the stress of worrying about your pets can cause,the difference it makes knowing they are in good hands while your away from them.
