Child Care in Turner Valley

| Hello! My name is Jenn and I am a care professional with over 13 years of experience as a nanny, dayhome provider, postpartum doula & mother's helper. I also have 2 school-aged children of my own. I have availability for part-time or casual care at this time. I am more than happy to support families as a childcare provider and/or postpartum doula and Mother's Helper. I can support with basic care, diapering, bathing, homework help, bedtime, providing healthy meals, snacks and loads of play for the children. I love the outdoors and avoid screentime. I am warm, caring & gentle with a genuine love for working with young children and new mothers. I take very seriously the responsibility of providing them with a welcoming, safe & encouraging environment as well as the importance of nurturing support for new moms. I am a (Level 1) Early Childhood Educator, have extensive training as a postpartum doula with DONA International and have taken numerous courses on Children's Development & Mental Health. I also have a drivers license, my own vehicle, current Standard First Aid Level C / CPR & AED as well as a Criminal Record Check. I am out in Turner Valley but more than happy to commute to surrounding areas and south Calgary.

My experience includes 10 years in my private dayhome, over 5 years as a private nanny as well as a number of years as a birth & postpartum doula. I am also the mother to two school-aged children. I have current first aid & cpr certification, a venerable sector search, Early Childhood Educator (Level 1), a drivers license & personal vehicle. I live in Turner Valley, Alberta and I am in search of a handful of amazing families to support long-term (part-time) in my area.
