My goal is for parents to experience a worry-free time knowing their children are in adroit hands

My two biggest childcare jobs were, one, looking after three boys (ages 4, 5, 6) throughout a summer. At this home, I chose to prepare breakfasts/lunches/dinners (depending on the hours I worked), did housework duties, watched the children swim, and put them to bed. This family was amazing to work for and the connection I formed with the kids was great. My second babysitting/nannying job took place a following summer, where I looked after two girls, ages 4 and 6. This job was very fun, yet required strict attention. The six year old was in a wheelchair, so everything I did with the one child had to accommodate to the other. We went on many long walks, gardened, I prepared meals for the girls, and did a range of different activities. What I gained from both experiences was how amazing children are and how much excitement they bring. I learned how to be patient with children as they are very unpredictable. I am very outgoing and interactive myself so I never struggle with children crying, arguing, etc. I am very attentive to whatever they say and whatever they feel like when being with them as I want them to feel heard and appreciated. Overall, I am gladly able to do many duties in the house, and for the children!
