| I’m offering nanny/childcare services! I’ve worked in a daycare for the last few years and have since decided I would like to provide more 1 on 1 personal care. I treat all children as I would my own, providing nurturing loving care and a happy positive environment!

| I have worked with children in both home and facility supervision. I worked with YMCA camps as a Sports Camp Counselor for children ages 6-12. I also worked in an after school support program for kids with specialized learning plans. In addition, I have babysat since I was about 12 and now being 27, I feel I have gained a lot of experience working with families. My most recent position was at a reputable daycare and child learning center in Newmarket area. I worked as an assistant teacher in both the Toddler and Preschool 1&2 Rooms. I created learning plans based on Ontario's How Does Learning Happen, and gained a lot of experience assisting children with their development.

| I graduate from Brigham Young University-Idaho this December with my Bachelor's degree in Psychology with a minor in Sociology and a certificate in Criminology. Almost graduating University is an extremely exciting time in my life. I have taken several child development classes and behavioral courses that have emphasized childhood and adolescence years. These courses have allowed me to be more sympathetic and understanding to childhood needs that I can implement in your home. Besides from taking University classes, I have many years of experience with working with young children and adolescences, which includes a 6-month internship at a daycare center. My recent year's of experience includes nannying for two families that I love (they are the flower girls and ring barriers in my profile picture), a young boy who was one year old, and a 3-month-old. I have years of experience working with children aging from 3 months- 13 years old. I have also worked with twins, children that are autistic, and a child that has down syndrome. I have experience teaching a young child baby sign language that helped develop his communication skills and fine motor skills. I am always looking for ways to teach the children that I nanny for and making sure they are always around a positive environment, provide creative, fun and crafty activities. I love playing with the children, having fun with them, developing their needs, and most importantly keeping them safe. I am currently looking for a full-time position, Monday-Friday. | My name is Alex and I am who you're looking for if you're looking for someone fun, engaging, kind, responsible and trustworthy. I was a nanny for 1 family for about 7 years. I looked after their son from the age of 15 mths until he was about 8yrs old. My duties included playing with him, outings to museums/art galleries/restaurants/drop-in centres/the aquarium/petting farms/high park zoo/playgrounds etc. We often did crafts, I taught him how to read and write. I also helped prepare lunch and ate with him. I am still very good friends with the family and see them often! I am not the type of nanny who takes your kid to the park and then sits and talks with the other nannies, or looks at their phone the whole time. I'm the one who is climbing the playground and sliding down the slide with the kids. Kids love me! I can do light housework like vacuuming, mopping, dusting and laundry ( I actually love to clean and organize) I can do meal prep and grocery shopping for you too. I'm looking for a position with ideally 1-2 kids. I'm looking for part-time hours. no weekends as I have a weekend job.
