My name is Alex and I am who you're looking for if you're looking for someone fun, engaging, kind, responsible and trustworthy. I was a nanny for 1 family for about 7 years. I looked after their son from the age of 15 mths until he was about 8yrs old. My duties included playing with him, outings to museums/art galleries/restaurants/drop-in centres/the aquarium/petting farms/high park zoo/playgrounds etc. We often did crafts, I taught him how to read and write. I also helped prepare lunch and ate with him. I am still very good friends with the family and see them often! I am not the type of nanny who takes your kid to the park and then sits and talks with the other nannies, or looks at their phone the whole time. I'm the one who is climbing the playground and sliding down the slide with the kids. Kids love me! I can do light housework like vacuuming, mopping, dusting and laundry ( I actually love to clean and organize) I can do meal prep and grocery shopping for you too. I'm looking for a position with ideally 1-2 kids. I'm looking for part-time hours. no weekends as I have a weekend job. I'm also a family photographer (@wildeyed) and have a lot of experience working with babies/kids through that work :)
