Daycare in Saskatoon

| I have successfully operated my daycare for over thirty years and my references from parents are excellent. I have an abundance of toys, craft supplies, children’s books, puzzles for indoor entertainment. I have a huge beautiful back yard with a newer swing/slide set, playhouse and outdoor toys. I have always taken the children outside daily, all four seasons, requiring parents to dress them accordingly for the weather. I provide a healthy mid morning snack, lunch, mid afternoon snack. I serve foods according to the Canadian Food Guide including a variety of vegetables, fruits, whole wheat bread and milk daily - with a treat now and then! I am semi retired now but wish to continue childcare part time for a while for additional income. Not to mention I miss having little ones around, having run my daycare for so many years! Any parent looking for part time or drop-in for occasional time for themselves might welcome the opportunity to use my services in a safe, clean home. I can provide excellent references from parents whose children I have cared for.

| A bit about me, I have my ECE Diploma (Level 3), am First Aid/CPR certified, mom of 3, and have been running my dayhome since July of 2011. Prior to opening my own, I worked in a licensed childcare centre. I have over 10 years of experience working with children. My dayhome has a good mix of free play, and child-led activities, as well as structure and learning about weekly themes. We have a daily routine that also includes outside play, circle time and crafts. We also have a daycare facebook group to view pictures of your child’s day. We are located in the Massey Place area of Saskatoon, close to Confed, Dundonald, and Hampton Village, with access to circle drive close by. This is my dream job, and something I've wanted to do since I was in grade 7. My dayhome is set up so it is not an over-stimulating environment to keep children engaged in their play and learning. - Nicole
