| I am an elementary school fine arts teacher (K-7) and am free all summer for babysitting and child care, as well as on evenings and weekends during the school year. I am 28 years old and have many years experience caring for children from newborn to age 14. I started babysitting at the age of 12 which sparked an interest in working with kids at an early age. I continued working as a child overnight camp leader for 4 years and nannying. I have since gone on to teaching acting classes in my own studio and drama, dance and movement workshops in elementary schools full-time. I am a certified lifeguard, level 3 First Aid attendant and have 10+ years of accident-free driving experience and own a vehicle including a child booster car seat and a toddler car seat. I am happy to do evening shifts for a date night or full day childcare including home cooked meals, daytime activities, and day trips, but I book up for daytime care pretty quickly. My rates are: $15 for one child $20/hour for 2 children $25/hour for 3 children special rates negotiable for 4 or more kids if you want to 'nanny share'.

I am also a mother of two children. Generally a stay at home mom. I have recently for the last couple of years been working for a nanny service in Cancun Mexico, mostly for the Jewish Passover time at the resorts. I am also experienced with assisted living care as I worked with the clients planning menus and cooking their meals. I was trained by a French chef at a fishing lodges in order to manage and cook for the lodge for two years. I also worked here in Montreal as a house cleaner as a teenager. I was at one time fluent in French so I can get by but need practice. I also understand a lot of Spanish. I have a special little dog I brought from Mexico who also loves to spend time with children.
