Enthusiastic, outgoing individual who absolutely loves children!

I am a Registered Nurse who has recently completed first aid training, advanced cardiac life support, and my neonatal resusitation certification. I have experience being a Mother's Helper for a family of 4, ages 2-14, for a span of 10 years. While working here, I was able to build a relationship with each of the kids, complete housework, and assist children with homework, such as math and English. Although I have not had experience babysitting newborns, I have completed a clinical rotation on a postpartum floor. This included caring for newborns, providing baby baths, and providing parents with health teaching. With this rotation, we are required to take a Child and Family Health Course, in which we learn about both newborn and child health care needs.
I currently work in outdoor education with children and just au paired with a family in Italy last summer (which was an amazing experience!)
I am very active and love to play sports. I play hockey, soccer, and tennis regularly. I love animals and spend lots of time taking my dog on hikes or lying and reading with my cat.
