Wanted Looking for a reliable, trustworthy and dependable PSW to work with our adult son. Physically able to handle full-on physical assistance with personal care, mobility and recreation. Capable of engaging in meaningful conversations and activities with a person who is technically nonverbal . Understanding and able to execute assistance with all aspects of personal care including feeding, toileting and bathing. Light housekeeping and daily laundry duties are needed. Familiarity with some basic technology ( iPad, email and apps) appreciated. Able to totally commit to 7:30 a.m-3:00 p.m Monday-Friday from September to June. Some occasional availability on weekends welcome. Paid hourly and mileage for transportation to community events. Current criminal record check for vulnerable persons , first aid and clean/ experienced driving record with appropriate insurance. Willingness to participate and assist with community activities/ involvement.

We are looking for a a loving, adventurous and caring support worker to help assist with transition to college support for our 20 year old son. Who would work well with him? Someone who loves dogs & talking about them (specifically from the working dog group), spicy food & anime! A friend who will push our son to try new things, foster his independence and is patient. Our son is funny, verbal and is able to take personal care of himself. We are looking for someone who can work well with the staff at college and staff at the local high school, to go between each 3 times/week with possibility of additional respite if needed. We want to ensure that he is familiar with the college prior to him attending. Would be for the school year.
