Before care for 2 boys 6 years old( neurodivergent) and 7 years old. From about 7 am until 745 am. Must be able to drop off at their van / bus stop.
After school care only for neurodivergent child. From about 230 pm until 530 pm. Can travel to my home out of town to care for child or in your home. Or can accompany him to an after-school program as a shadow. ( help him is he needs to change due to an accident) or to sit with him if he needs quiet time.

We are an energetic family of six, looking for respite providers to provide care for a 10-year-old girl, who has a diagnosis of ASD and ADHD. The other children include a 12-year-old girl, a 7-year-old girl, and a 4-year-old boy. Providers must have a combination of relevant training, education and experience within the fields of child and youth care, education, personal support work or other relevant discipline.
We are looking for respite providers who can participate in engaging 1:1 activities, physical exercise (biking, trampoline, etc.) and outings. Given that the worker will be entering an active family, we are also looking for flexibility to help out with one or more of the other children when the identified client is either actively involved in independent play or with the parents. Activities with the identified client and a sibling may occur and can include activities like swimming or bike rides
We require providers to work afternoon/evening (e.g., 430 to 830) shifts during the week and 8 hours/day on the weekend. We are looking for more than one provider and open to providers with other part-time positions as well. Schedules will be identified through this process. Some recording and reporting of behaviours will also be required.
Rate of pay is $37/hour. Additional expenses (e.g., purchases for worker and child, like admissions) would be reimbursed. Transportation costs are included in the hourly rate of pay.
