My daughter is 8, autistic, non-verbal, and has some anxiety/OCD issue that come along with her diagnoses. We’re looking for respite for 9 hours a week (flexible) to help care for her.

Looking for someone who needs a few hours a week to support a teen and a pre-teen with their morning routine and support to get them out the door and to school. Includes being sure they have a healthy lunch packed, breakfast eaten, meds taken and they are on time for school.

Hello, I am looking for someone to hang out with my soon to be 14 year old girl after school for an hour or two, Monday through Thursday. The ideal individual would just have fun with her while gently coaching her in social interactions. She is ADHD, ODD, and has an intellectual disability. Cognitively she is more like a 10 year old. She is very bold and talkative, loves dancing, tactile things like slime and clay, baking, and being silly. She enjoys arts and crafts but will deny it if you ask. She also insisted I let you know that she is obsessed with the band BTS and will talk your ear off about them. Family is seeking an individual to provide full time care to a toddler with Down Syndrome. The candidate will demonstrate knowledge of or experience working with children with special needs/Down Syndrome. The individual must demonstrate confidence in G-tube feeding, using a CPAP machine, and medication administration. Family will provide appropriate training and provide candidate with applicable resources related to hte role. Successful candidate must provide a clear (current within 3 months of start date) Criminal Record Check & vulnerable sector. They must also provide a valid and current First Aid certification. The successful candidate will have experience with children with severe intellectual delays. They will be able to deliver speech language therapy under the direction of our Speech Language Pathologist using play, art, music and reading. The successful candidate must have or get a current Police Check, including a vulnerable sector check. They must also have current First Aid and CPR certification.
