Special Needs Care Jobs in Gloucester

My 19 year old son has both ASD and panic disorder and is finding it incredibly difficult to take the bus. He will be starting at Algonquin College in the fall so will need to take the bus from Pineview to Algonquin, which is about a one hour trip. This may be a temporary job until he gets used to the trip but could last for 2 to 6 months. It's hard to tell how things will go. He is a very kind and normal young man with no obvious signs of disability.

Flexible hours for the right person who is active, reliable, and keen to support our son, who has autism. We want someone who can do activities (eg obstacle courses, taking walks, playing frisbee or ball) and is also keen to help with communication, learning and skill development. You'd be working from our home and in the general area (nearby parks, etc) in approximately four hour shifts. We'd also love to have you plan special outings, such as the trampoline park. Our son is energetic, gentle, easy to get along with and happy to learn -- we're looking for someone who is the same.

Both mom and I are only looking for a few hours a week to be able to grocery shop or have time for mom to finish her work outside of the home. The boys are just looking for a friend who will play games and have snacks (which mom and dad happily provide)

Hi there! We are a bilingual (french/english) military family currently posted in Ottawa and have two boys named Noah, who is almost 3 and Leo, who just turned 1. We are looking for a kind soul to look after our children on some occasions (mainly when my husband is deployed and help with essential needs and bedtime routine (feeding, diaper changes, bath time, dental hygiene, play, etc.) Once every 2 weeks or 1 to 3x/week when husband is away for work. Afternoons and/or evenings until 6-7PM. I would also need your services occasionally during appointments. The ideal candidate has experience caring for toddlers and young children and is responsible, patient, reliable, and kind. Responsibilities include planning activities, providing meals, and creating a nurturing, safe, and healthy environment for the children. Experience with working with autistic children or developmental delays/disabilities are an asset as my oldest is currently being assessed for Autism. Monday to sat afternoon and evening care

We are looking for someone who can take care of our 12 year old son full-time for the last 3 weeks in August. The hours we need are 9am to 5pm and the tasks would involve basic care, preparing lunch and snacks and engaging him in activities. Our son is a very energetic fellow. He has Autism and is mostly non-verbal and needs alot of help and care but he laughs and smiles easily, is pretty easy to entertain and fun to work with.
