We need care every Wednesday during school days to cover collaboration time in the morning from 8 am until the school bus picks up between 9 and 9:30 am. We also need that person to be able to provide care on professional days and for two days during semester breaks days when staff in Delta schools must still work. The support person must have some experience working with children with behavioral challenges, epilepsy and developmental delays. The person should be comfortable working in our home and willing to plan activities and take our daughter on outings to do activities like swimming/walks/movies etc. on non-school days. Professional days generally occur one Friday a month but may sometimes be a Monday. The semester break is in late January between semesters. We also need care in the last week of June when school is finished for students but not secondary school staff. Wages will be discussed and are limited by funding provided by SCD. A vulnerable police check is required.

Hello, I am looking for a close to full-time, reliable, long-term caregiver. I am a 48 year old wheelchair user. I am a C4/5 Quadriplegic and use a power wheelchair. I have a teenage son and my own business. I need someone to come in and help me with my activities of daily living, range of motion, personal care. This job will include home, housekeeping, cooking and helping me run my house, basically. The shift starts at 7 AM Monday to Friday. I am hoping to find someone for minimum of 5 to 6 hours a day.

We are currently looking for a fun energetic and caring person to do respite/care work with our son. we are unsure on amount of hours at this time but would be flexible to your schedule and would also like a min of 1 to 3 or 4 days per week which also would be flexible. He is a 17 yr old boy with Cerebral palsy and require 100% support in all areas. He is very intelligent and loves sports, sining, going on outings and much more. He is non-verbal but is able to communicate w/ his eye gaze computer and also speaks with his eyes and smile to yes or no questions or multiple choice questions. He also gets out the odd Yeah or ya vocally
We live in north delta near 82nd and 111B St and would be interested in a regular respite/caregiver on various days incl. weekends and times which would be flexible at this time. We eventually would like a full time live in care giver but are not at that point for a few more years. Rate of pay would be negotiable depending on qualifications, experience and agreed rate.
Some duties are, feeding, giving meds, bathing, toileting, outings
( Such as movies, bowling, park, helping learn daily tasks ie. shopping, banking and more) We have a fully wheelchair accessible home that has elevators, ramps, lifts. No experience is really needed but would be more likely to take on someone with more experience if possible.
Driving of larger vehicle like a sprinter van or transit use, G-tube and spoon feeding, use of lift and other equipment would be a benefit but not a must training would be provided.
