We are looking for a Personal Caregiver/Community Support Worker/Big Sister to support our daughter in her home and out in the community. (We will train you in "All-Things Miss Mack" so you both can make your sisterhood a successful relationship) The hours are varied but flexible. Some days, some evenings. Also looking for occasional w/e help. Must be outgoing, communicative and have a desire to learn, as well as be excited about how your efforts can help our daughter to be as successful as she can be, in her own development.

I have 2 year old twins. Son has just been diagnosed with Autism and Global Development Delay (GDD) and daughter with GDD. To date, caregiving has been done by me and my mom who lives with our family. However, we need help to allow mom to sleep in a few times a week and to allow the opportunity to attend appointments outside of the home or to run errands. Caregiver would never be left alone with both twins, but would assist either me, my mom or my husband in caring for the twins. This would include tasks such as playing, diaper changes and feeding. We would be grateful for assistance with meal preparation, as well, if the twins are napping during a shift. While we have selected our ideal times, we can be flexible on the days and the hours that we get help and also on our start date. Looking for a part-time (weekend) caregiver/companion for our daughter. Responsibilities include personal care, community access support, light housekeeping and meal preparation.

I have an active, empathetic social young man 12 years old - who just wants to play with ‘friends’ but needs continuous eyes on supervision, with a level 2 skilled care giver to ensure socially safe interactions - both inside and outside the home. I is friendly, loves sports especially soccer, swimming, music, online gaming, bike riding, pretend sword play, a good one water gun stand off.

Our family is looking to hire an exceptional live-out nanny/caregiver to join our family. Your primary role will be providing one-on-one care to our 4 year old daughter who requires extra support due to physical and developmental disabilities. Working with her to reach developmental goals will be a critical part of each day. Additional care for our 5.5 year old son will also be required on days when he is home. Assets are previous experience caring for and a love for children and those with special needs. We are looking for a mature yet young at heart individual who lives with integrity, a compassionate heart, sense of humor, excellent communication skills, stellar organizational skills, keen attention to detail, a willingness to learn, and whose ideal day is hanging out with young kids! We value family, faith, outdoor active play and exploration, creative learning in/about the world around us, reading, music, and hands on learning. Light housekeeping duties are required as well as transporting children to school daily and managing weekly in-home therapy appointments. Your own reliable transportation and clean driving record is required. This is a PART TIME (~30 hours/week) position structured around the needs of our family with all statutory and school holidays off (Christmas and summer holidays, Spring break, long weekends, etc.) as well as days when we accompany our daughter to medical appointments. We will strive to give you as much advance notice as possible of the next month’s schedule. General hours of work per day are 7:15am-5:15pm (sorry can not adjust these hours). Always hard to completely describe the job description for someone to work with your daughter. Basically you assist our daughter in all activities of daily living and be like a big sister/brother to her. some of those things including helping her get dressed, eat, brush her teeth etc but a big part of the job is having fun with her. Going to matinees, going to hockey games, for walks, bike rides, playing on sportcourt, going to the park, while encouraging as much independence as possible for her. You must see more than the disability and see her for who she is. looking for someone fun, out going, physically fit, creative, and able to make decisions appropriately, and have excellent communication skills with a desire to make a difference in someone's life. Must have a valid drivers license and preferably be able to transport daughter to and from activities.

Need someone able to help with grade typical homework, helping wash and style hair, check up with hygiene, hand washing, brushing teeth, take to appointments, occasional outing to movies, swimming shopping, help tidy her room. Also looking for same/someone else for house cleaning.
