I am looking for in-home help from somebody who has experience with people with diverse abilities, mental health, as well as comfortable with housekeeping jobs. I struggle with executive function and chronic exhaustion. I need some support with staying organized with bills, to-do lists, taxes, scheduling etc. Some de-cluttering jobs. I also have 2 cats and 1 small dog. My energy levels and mental capacity fluctuate. Examples: Some days I will want to come home to an empty home that has been cleaned and tidied. Some days I will want to work on a house-job alongside you, like decluttering or organizing. Some days I will be hyper focused on online-schooling and needing another person to clean the dishes, laundry and take care of meals. Some days I will want support organizing and prioritizing my to-do list.

I am reaching out in hopes of finding a lively, outgoing individual to join me as a weekend-based, live-in caregiver who is energetic and talkative at my SFU residence. I use a wheelchair with SMA Type 2 - a condition causing significant muscle weakness. Although I possess complete sensation, I need support with transfers, dressing, bathing, and toilet needs, in addition to tube feeding. I'm sociable along with having a keen interest in politics, video gaming, movies and lively discussions on a broad range of topics. As the live-in caregiver, I'll need you to help with some light housekeeping tasks, and ensuring my comfortability and positioning. The ability to deal effectively with Quad/Paraplegic Care is essential, along with proficiency in using a Hoyer Lift. Don't worry, we can train on the latter! :-) I live in a fully accessible residence unit at SFU. It's a nice, quiet space that backs onto a green space here. This child is not speaking any understandable words but is happy and communicative. He is tall for his age and very strong. He likes the outdoors and going to interesting stores.

Really just looking for some respite for a few hours a week. Mostly baby-sitting-like tasks, including helping feed, changing diaper, playing with, while I get a much needed break. He also has a service dog that helps alert to seizures and is trained in search and rescue, so ease around dogs is necessary.

Looking for some one to train my son how to take personal care of himself (e.i, shower, clothing, put his shoes on, etc.)

We are looking for respite care for our 7 year old, adopted daughter who has complex developmental and mental health challenges. She is currently diagnosed with FASD, ADHD and ODD. We are going through the process of more thorough assessment and stabilization. We need respite from a BI 2-3 times a week, after school for a few hours, as well as respite on the weekends, gradually moving to overnights. We would begin with care taking place in our home, however, we need her respite time to take place in the community or in your home.
