Looking for and kind and compassionate individual who who can do personal cares (bathing, grooming, dressing), as well as mobility support/monitoring and Nursing & health care for our mom. Understanding of diseases such as: Diabetes, Atrial-Fibrillation, Hypertension, Gout, Hypo Thyroidism, nerve pain, as well as knowledge of non pharmacological pain management are an asset, but not a requirement. Our family is wanting monitoring of moms medication's, blood glucose record monitoring and checking while there, blood pressure and heart rate checked, and pain management monitoring. Renovations are being done for easier access for shower/ bath, but not completed at present time but very soon this month should be done I believe). She will require assistance with some personal cares in the meantime. Mom was in the hospital last month for 6 days last month and is still recovering from an infection and nerve pain. She has a bulging vertebral disc that she is on the wait list for surgery ... tentatively booked several months down the road. She has accepted family to look for outside assistance.
