Hello, my name is Shauna. I am looking for hard-working, easy going, responsible Personal Support Worker(s) for part-time and or casual/on-call work in my home in lower Lantzville (North Nanaimo). I am a very easy going 50 yr old female with MS trying to be as independent as can be from this wheelchair but still require help and can self direct my needs.
Main Responsibilities will be: Personal Care (sponge, dressing, catheter care), assist with stretching/ROM and exercises, assistance w/ADL, meal prep, light housekeeping, bathroom assistance. Additional Tasks may include (but not limited to) gardening, pet care, fun projects, shopping, appointments (I have my own van). I enjoy reading, games, getting outdoors, shopping and coloring
Shift Needs: Monday thru Friday 8am-11am and 2-4pm – can be independent shifts or both as a Split Shift
Compensation: $25/hour to start. Paid via e-transfer on the 15th and 31st
