Looking for Full-Time Nanny in West Edmonton for 3 Girls, age: 4,6,7.
by Chris • Edmonton
Hi,
We are looking for a full-time nanny for our 3 daughters, ages: 4, 6, and 7.
Our 4 year old is in pre-school MWF until 11:30am. Older two daughters are in Grade 1 and 2 until 3:20pm (2:20pm on Thursdays).
Hours would be:
Monday, Wednesday, and Friday: 11am – ~5pm (day would start by coming to our house to grab our vehicle to pickup 4 year old from pre-school).
Tuesday and Thursday: 7:45am – ~5pm (day would start by coming to our house and dropping the girls off at school and then caring for the 4 year old throughout the day).
The end times for each day can end a bit earlier or later if you want/need to, but the schedule represents roughly 36 hours per week.
Pay would be $26/hr. We pay for stat holidays and typically discuss well ahead of time whether you want the day off (with pay or day in-lieu) or wish to work that day (2.5x pay as per Alberta standards). We also pay out vacation at the equivalent of 2 weeks per year.
Duties would include:
- Dropping off and picking up daughters from school on Tuesdays and Thursdays, and picking up on Monday, Wednesday, Friday.
- Making meals and snacks for them during the day / after school, and depending on the end-time of the day, starting supper for the girls (you do not need to do any planning or prepping for us parents).
- Playing with them, having fun, and supporting their growth and curiosity.
- Some dedicated reading time with 4 year old while other two are at school.
- Getting the girls started on homework on some days (mostly them reading to you).
- General tidying up of whatever is associated with the children that day (clean up dishes after making the kids lunch, assisting in clean up of playtime crafts or toys), but you won’t be expected to clean the house for us or anything like that. If there are any dirty clothes possibly doing a load of kids-only laundry when needed.
Our home has a medium-sized dog and a cat.
We have a 2020 F150 dedicated for child use with the booster / car seats that you can use during the day.
Located in the west end, Granville area.
Hi! We're a family of 3 (soon to be 4) located in Oakville. Our daughter is 2 (in daycare) and we will be welcoming baby boy in early April 2025. We are seeking a full-time nanny to start once baby arrives in April (Mon-Fri, 9-5). My wife and I both work from home and my mother-in-law will be with us most days as well (working out of our home). As such, when one of us is able to be with baby, the ideal candidate would perform some light housekeeping and/or cooking. Our daughter attends daycare full-time, but ideally nanny can help with her when she is home. Would be amazing to find someone who can speak Mandarin Chinese, but definitely not a requirement. Thanks so much, look forward to learning more.
We also offer you competitive health insurance, dental benefits, and holidays / paid time off.
