Arrival would be 7am until 5pm starting off 2 days a week and may require school pick ups of older children ages 5 and 8 - about a 5 minute drive. The job can lead up to 3 days per week totalling 30 hrs . Additional hours can be added if needed. Looking for someone who can engage well with my kids and who has precious experience as a nanny or ECE. Also comfortable with a cat and dog.

We are looking for a nanny who would like to help us out with our 4 year old daughter and help us around the house. Our 4 year old daughter needs to be walked or driven to school Monday to Friday. I work Monday to Thursday and will pick her up myself on Friday afternoons. My husband works variable hours. Fridays you can work half days and finish early. You will be expected to clean, cook, shop and help with homework. A shopping budget and gas allowance will be provided. My husband speaks English. I speak French and English. Experience, candidates with early childhood education or who also speaks French are a plus but personality, honesty, flexibility, reliability and your love of children are what we are looking for. We are a professional couple looking for an after school caregiver for our three healthy, happy children, beginning April 2022 and continuing through the summer months, with option to become up to full time for the summer. Our children are 3, 7 and 9 years old. Our eldest daughter is fearless and adventurous. She loves to ski, swim, play hockey and is an avid reader. Our son is funny, imaginative, has some very slick dance moves and can create anything out of cardboard! Our youngest daughter is clever and curious, loves reading and playing with her older siblings. We are looking for someone with childcare experience who is engaging, patient, reliable, responsible and caring. We value a positive attitude, a strong work ethic, good organization and someone who enjoys being active and outside. We live in central Ottawa, in a family friendly and park-like neighbourhood. We are close by to beautiful walking/bike paths, a lake, parks, community centres, the shops and cafes of Beechwood Village and to public transit. Responsibilities would include picking up our children from their nearby school (less than 10 mins walking distance), engaging in play and fun activities, preparing their dinner, and some light housekeeping. For the summer months, would involve potential pick ups from nearby camps. Having driver’s license and own vehicle would be an asset though not required. CPR/First Aid, police check and at least 2 references are required. Covid-19 vaccination mandatory. Competitive wages, to be discussed. Hours/days have some flexibility, happy to discuss with interested candidates, but generally will require availability between 3 pm- 6 pm most days of the week until the end of the school year, with option to increase hours up to full time for July-August.
