We are ultimately looking for an in-house nanny to look after our 3 children (4 years, 10 months old twins). But at present we can't even move into our house and we will only arrive in Ottawa on July 23. We will need support for a few weeks before moving into the house and probably longer until we find someone to stay with us. My wife will start working immediately, I'll stay at home. The 4-year old starts Kindergarten after the summer break.

We are looking for a nanny who would like to help us out with our 4 year old daughter and help us around the house. Our 4 year old daughter needs to be walked or driven to school Monday to Friday. I work Monday to Thursday and will pick her up myself on Friday afternoons. My husband works variable hours. Fridays you can work half days and finish early. You will be expected to clean, cook, shop and help with homework. A shopping budget and gas allowance will be provided. My husband speaks English. I speak French and English.
Experience, candidates with early childhood education or who also speaks French are a plus but personality, honesty, flexibility, reliability and your love of children are what we are looking for.
For the right candidate, we would be willing to offer a good salary, 6 weeks of paid vacation per year and dental benefits.
