We are looking for a permanent, dedicated caregiver to work with our 17 year old son. He is a kind and caring teenager who has a variety of developmental delays and experiences high anxiety in response to routine events. The right candidate will be able to support him to engage in activities of daily living (e.g., eating, doing chores, toileting, recreation) and help coach him through anxiety producing situations. He responds well to people who are calm, patient, nurturing and self-confident while still being playful. Training will be provided to the successful candidates. A background in medical or health care work is an asset, as is experience working with youth with developmental disabilities. Weekly hours worked per person can be flexible, but both shifts combined must cover Monday through Friday from 4-8 pm, and Saturdays 8 hours/ day shifts and 12 hour night shifts 8pm-8am on Friday and Saturday nights. Duties include getting our son off the bus after school, going on community outings and working with him in our home, assisting with laundry, light housekeeping, and meal prep. Our house is smoke free, with a dog and a cat. We live in the Priddis area so please consider the commute prior to applying. We are only 18 minutes from the Shawnessy area. We pay $27.5-/hour. Shifts may be flexible.

We are looking for a live out nanny who would like to help us out with 3 children. Experience and references required. Start date would be end of August. Requirements include bus hours for school age child, preschool runs for the middle child and FT care of the youngest. Must be comfortable with highway driving and winter driving.
