As our nanny, you will be tasked with creating a safe, stimulating, and nurturing environment while providing essential care throughout the day. Responsibilities: * Provide attentive care and supervision for our child * Plan and engage in age-appropriate activities that promote development (e.g., reading, playtime, walks, music) * Maintain a clean and organized environment, including light housekeeping related to the child (e.g., tidying up toys) * Assist with naps and bedtime routines * Provide emotional support and positive reinforcement * Communicate regularly with parents about the child’s progress, behaviour, and needs Requirements: * Previous experience caring for young children, especially toddlers * Ability to engage children in educational and fun activities * CPR and First Aid certified (or willingness to obtain) * Strong references from previous childcare roles * Non-smoker and reliable transportation * Comfortable with light housekeeping related to the child * Patience, kindness, and a genuine love for children

I am looking for a part-time nanny to come to my home 2x per week to help with my 9-month old son, who is very active and loves to play. Duties would include playing, reading, teaching new skills, feeding and light meal prep for him, nap time, diaper changes, light tidying of toys etc. Also must be willing to hang out on the floor as he is currently learning to crawl and walk. My requested availability hours/days are flexible but ideally I would prefer someone come on Tuesdays and Thursdays from about 11am to 5/6pm. I am looking someone for the short term through out the winter season, with potential for longer care in the summer. CPR certification is an asset.
