We are a family of five, looking for a nurturing and responsible nanny to help look after our two older children 3 and 5 years old, occasional help with the baby, 8 months old, could be requested as well. I am looking for someone three days a week for around 6 or 7 hours a day, for a total of approximately 18-20 hours a week. Ideally the schedule would be Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday, and Friday with hours of 10am to 4pm. This is open for discussion as we are pretty flexible. Wage is open for discussion, and will be mainly based on your level of experience. We live about fifteen minutes East of Leduc on a farm so your own transportation is required. I do not work outside the home but I have many projects to work on around the house and property so I would be home for a lot of the time you would be here. Your job would be to care for the older boys so that I can work relatively undisturbed. I'm looking for someone active and creative in coming up with different activities to do with the children, things like art projects, crafts, singing and rhymes, baking, etc. They love reading and being told stories, playing games and playing with their toys. We do not do much screen time so there will be no TV shows, games on your phone etc. You would prepare snacks and lunch and be responsible for keeping the kitchen/dining areas tidy as well as the play areas as used during the day. I try to get the boys outside every day even in cold winter weather so that would be part of your job too. There is plenty of space to explore and play outside here. We have a huge, friendly but rambunctious dog who you would not be responsible for but he does live outside so ideally you like dogs and are at least not afraid of big ones. :) If any of this sounds interesting to you, please send me a message and we can talk more!
