| A bit about my experience, I do private tutoring for high school students in Canberra. I have been in Canberra for only more than a year! I have been tutoring undergraduate courses in Physics and Engineering Department at ANU. I have had 5 years of tutoring experience in India during my undergraduate and master studies. I used to tutor Physics, Mathematics and Chemistry for high school and senior students also math and science subjects to kids of year 1-7. It’s exciting to see the sparkle in kid’s eyes when they understands something better with my explanation. The way I teach is, I help kids see why they have to understand a particular subject or topic. Especially I explain and make them think about the real life situations or applications where they could use a particular piece of knowledge. And this approach of mine has always worked excellent! I am quite flexible about the teaching methods, though strict with the quality of content being taught.

| Hi, I'm Ruth! I have recently graduated with a Bachelor of Philosophy - Science (Hons) in molecular cell biology, immunology, and biochemistry at the ANU. In Year 12 I was placed in the top 99.95% nationally and achieved above 95% for Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Mathematics, Geography, and English. I absolutely love science and have dedicated hundreds of hours over the last two years in five different biology/chemistry research labs working as a research assistant. I’m also incredibly passionate about science communication and I deeply appreciate the need to make complex scientific principles accessible to people of all ages and educational backgrounds as is evidenced, for example, by my active contribution to ANU’s Science Communication Magazine aimed at students in Years 10-12 and my volunteering at Questacon.
