| I am a reliable, engaged tutor with a love of learning and kids. I hope to share my passion for English and history with your child, as well as give them the individual attention they need. I am currently studying for a Bachelor of Arts and a Bachelor of International Relations, majoring in English and History, at the Australian National University. In my HSC, I received a 90.20 ATAR with a 92 in English Advanced, a 90 in Visual Arts and an 89 in Modern History. I also received high marks in English Extensions 1 and 2. I am most experienced helping high school students, but am more than happy to work with primary-school-aged children as well! In English, I offer support with essay writing skills, creative writing, literary devices, and critical analysis skills. In history, I offer essay writing skills, primary and secondary source analysis and summarisation techniques. For primary school students, I can assist with reading, writing, comprehension, spelling and grammar. I can also provide assistance with creating effective study habits and skills such as time management, memorisation techniques and stress management.
