| Hi! My name is Kate and I am a bubbly, fun-natured, responsible, reliable and well-educated 23 year old female tutor and teacher. I am in my final year of studying a Bachelor of Primary Education (R-7/Special Education) and a Bachelor of Disability Studies. I have more than 5 years experience in teaching, supporting, mentoring and inspiring students of all ages and abilities within a range of environmental settings. I have recently began working as an Online/In-person tutor for LearnMate, supporting students in years REC-10 in all areas of academia. I also work at 2 local primary schools as a Student Support Officer/Personal Tutor. I completed year 12 with an ATAR of 80.50. Through the SACE program, I passed with an A- for all my subjects including English, Society and Culture, Drama and Mathematics. | I am a first year Law and Economics student at the University of Adelaide, having completed the International Baccalaureate Diploma at Seymour College in 2020. In Year 11 and 12, I studied English, Mathematics, Chemistry, Psychology, Global Politics, and Spanish ab initio. I gained a merit in English, Global Politics, and Spanish, and received my school's subject prize for Chemistry, Psychology, and Spanish. I graduated with an ATAR of 98.7, and received several academic awards accordingly. I have been a debating coach at Seymour College since 2018, coaching over 50 students in that time. In my role, I have taught many students about highly complex, nuanced topics. This experience has equipped me with the enthusiasm, patience, and teaching capacity necessary to successfully tutor students.
