I've worked as a nanny for several years and those roles included keeping the home clean, tidy and organised. On a weekly basis I would change bedding, do the laundry, iron, put away the groceries, tidy up after the children (and pets), clean floors and surfaces, water plants etc. I would also help organise spaces like the children's wardrobes or playroom.
