My father owned and ran a butcher in Barwon heads for many years until I was 23yrs old. I filled many positions on weekends at this business for my family since I was 11yrs old. My mother has polio from the waist down, so I always was the older and responsible sibling looking after my family during the week whilst my mother would be at the butcher shop. I cooked, cleaned and provided hygiene for my brother and sister for many years. Now I am older with four children of my own and it has been the most wonderful years ever. My youngest (daughter) is now 6 whom has autism, and has been enrolled successfully at Armstrong creek. She is doing very well but, Its myself that is missing that day to day care. There is only so much house and garden work that you can do in a day but, children fill it with such ease. It would be amazing to move on to care for others as that is what I've always done best. I would love an opportunity to prove that this is my favourite role in life.
