I am an experienced primary school educator from Alaska. I am in Australia on a working holiday visa. My interests are education, physical activities, and having fun! I started providing childcare at age 12 where I worked with another older teen to provide childcare to a book club. From ages 12-18, I nannied for a family in my community, ran childcare for the Eagle River Institute, and several other conferences in my town. I attended Southern Oregon University to obtain my degree in Primary Education. During the first year, I nannied for a family with an 8-month-old. I have been CPR and AED certified throughout university however, that certification has expired. I worked in the childcare facility at Cascade Athletic Club in 2019. The following year I worked as a nanny for two boys ages 4 and 8 for a year. I then went into my last year of university where I student taught in a year 6 class and then in a year 3 class. I love working with children and have been doing it successfully for over 10 years. I am kind, outgoing, and responsible. In the last 3 years since university, I have taught years 4, 5, and 6 as a licensed educator at Lake Otis Elementary School. I am a very flexible, dedicated, and experienced caregiver.
