| My name is Claudia S. I have moved to Melbourne to complete my Masters of Occupational Therapy course, specialising in pediatrics. Working with children is my passion and I have a lot of experience in different areas. I am currently a nanny in the mornings for a 9-year-old boy and 11-year-old girl, assisting in learning, organising fun games and activities, providing meals and taking them to school. As the 11-year-old has attention deficit disorder I work to assist her in maintaining attention on tasks and managing emotions such as frustration and anxiety. Most recently I have worked as a preschool teacher with children aged 2-4 years old. I taught the classes as a whole, as well as worked one-on-one with children. The previous two summers I have been a Camp Counsellor at an overnight summer camp in Wisconsin, USA. I was responsible for the 7 to 9 year old age group, responsible for a range of things including activities, arts and crafts, sports, homesickness and medications. I was a lifeguard on the waterfront and climbing instructor on the climbing wall and zipline.
