| Before getting married and having my own children, I worked as a nanny for 2 different families in Sydney NSW. Age of children ranged from newborn to 7 years. Our two daughters (aged 19 and 17) are growing up now and for the past few years I have worked as a casual babysitter and also a nanny for a few different families while living in Hobart and Brisbane, children’s ages ranging from 2 months to 8 years. I have spent over a year in Brisbane with a beautiful family looking after their 1 and 3 year old but that job has now ended as their mother was having another child and is now on maternity leave. I graduated high school with honours in maths and english, so I'm more than happy to help with homework. | I am a 23-year-old UQ graduate (BA) with 5 years of experience as an OSHC educator at a primary school in St Lucia. I work at a large service caring for 200+ children daily and have held a leadership role for 2 years as a “Responsible Person,” completing extra training for this position. In this role, I manage daily operations, lead educators, and run activities for children aged 4-12 (prep to grade 6). I have also worked as a nanny and tutor. As a senior educator, I am trusted with leading younger age groups but have extensive experience with older grades too. My strengths include behavior support, inclusion work, outdoor play, messy play, program planning, and running fun activities/clubs (i.e. cooking, art & craft, embroidery, sewing, loom knitting, face painting, and STEM activities). I’m comfortable balancing engaging activities with supervision, cleaning, and kitchen duties. All my childcare qualifications, including first aid, CPR, and food safety, are current and up to date.
