| I am a 19 year old English girl on a working holiday visa 147. From a young age I have had babysitting jobs, looking after children age 0-13. I got my first proper job at 13 where I was a swimming teachers assistant, I got in the pool with young children and helped them learn how to swim. It was important I made them feel relaxed and reassured so that they could gain confidence and have trust in me. The last job I had back at home was working at a special needs girls school, so I have a lot of training and experience when it comes to children who have additional needs such as autism, behaviour problems, communication difficulties, lack of social skills and mental health problems. Not only this but I also have a qualification in health and social care, as part of this I studied child development. Since being in Australia I have worked for a family just outside of Sydney. I looked after their children, did basic housekeeping duties etc in exchange for accomodation. I had a wonderful time and can get references. However I am now looking for a paid position.
