I am a mother of two grown up children, who were extremely active and busy growing up and through school. I have, and continue to work with many children as a Technical Official in swimming, both at State and National level. I also supervise VCE exams for a private school, as I believe the next generation need quiet, but firm, understanding and support.
I have always loved children, and working with children. I have the experience as a mother, and as a grown adult woman who has the experience of life. I also have patience and tolerance, and understanding that all children are different little beings.
I now have the time and ability to assist a family who requires the assistance and support of someone who has been through it all. My preference is to care for up to two children.
My preference would be after school care for a few hours as needed, a few days a week. But if needed, I may also be available to start earlier in the day. I can also be available to do ad hoc evening or weekend babysitting depending on schedules.
