| Hello, my name is Alyssa. I’m 20 years old and am currently on my second year of studying a Bachelor of Education (primary) at Southern Cross University on the Gold Coast. I currently work as a teachers aide at a primary school. I also have over a years experience babysitting two young boys and have tutored a year eleven student. I hold a Working with children's check and have completed Anaphylaxis, Child protection, Emergency care, Child protection awareness training online through the NSW Government of Education. I love working with children! I've always grown up around younger children and looking after family friends kids. I'm hard working, a fast learner, co-operative, honest, friendly, caring, reliable and punctual. I have my own transportation so I am able to do school pick-ups and drop-offs as well as take the children to after school activities. I can also help with light housekeeping, cooking, bathing and homework. I have excellent references that I’m happy to sent through as well :)

| I’m a bubbly girl who is also very organised. I have my license and own my own car. I used to work with kids every afternoon teaching them martial arts. I have also grown up looking after my baby cousins from ages 6 months to 11 years old.

| I have 11 years experience babysitting children as I have 9 nieces and nephews ranging from 12 to 2 years old. I have previously been a live in nanny for an 11 year old female from June to August this year in North Brisbane and my duties involved morning and after school pick up, meal preparation for breakfast, lunch and dinner, running errands, light household cleaning and taking her to after school activities. I also an a women's life coach who specialises in boosting confidence, self esteem and positive body image.

| I am a Qualified Child Care worker with a passion for creating a warm, secure and safe environment for any child in my care. With many of years of experience in caring for children, including 4 of my own, it is my belief that to raise a secure and confident child consistent and thoughtful care is paramount. I love being creative and creating fun and engaging activities for children. I am quite used to the daily school, after school and after school activities run as I have been doing for my own tribe for a number of years. I have obtained a Certificate 3 in Childcare Services through TAFE NSW as well as a working with children check. I love animals and am happy to work in a home with pets. I can help with and small kitchen duties if need be - preparing lunches, afternoon tea ect.

| I am a mother of three girls aged 22, 24 and 25, and a proud Nana of a beautiful Grand Daughter aged 2. I am a volunteer Youth Leader and have been involved with the foundation for over 6 years. I work on an annual basis during the High School exams as the head supervisor for Lindisarne Anglican Grammar School. I nanny for 3 children on a Wednesday, Thursday and Friday before school (6am - 9am) and after school 3pm - 6.30pm), making breakfast and lunch, dropping at and picking up from school, taking to after school activities, doing homework, sometimes preparing evening meals, preparing afternoon tea. bathing for bed, and anything else the family requires me to do. I have my current first aid certificate and own transport, a current Bluecard and Working with children Number, I am also a foster respite carer once a month over a weekend, which I have been for the past 4 years.

| I have had experience with children in various situations in my life including active after school care, youth group, church, kids church, kids camping ministry etc.

| In my teens i used to babysit for neighbourhood children. Then in my first job as a milkbar attendant, i did extra work babysitting for the owners. I had 4 children (1997, 1999, 2001, 2005 so now they are currently (2021) aged 24, 22, 20, 16). I looked after an extra child after school during his yr 9 school year for his single parent and also looked after a 2year old for weeks at a time during this same time period, because her mum had some minor mental health issues and it gave her a much needed break. While i havent worked in the child care industry recently, it won't be too hard to get back into the swing of things.

| I am a mature experienced carer. I have bought up 2 children and occasionally care for my 2 young grandchildren, (but the distance is an issue as they live in Canberra) I am an ex-State Registered Nurse, Naturopath and Child care worker. My health physically and mentally is excellent and I am looking for work now to become independent. Re Children experience; I have Child care Certificate 3 and partially completed my diploma in Children's Services. I have managed an after school child care service in the ACT and worked as a child care worker in a Murwillumbah child care centre. I love relating to children and feel I am a natural carer. I am happy to be placed in a position in Tweed Heads. I have my own transport.
