In my teens i used to babysit for neighbourhood children. Then in my first job as a milkbar attendant, i did extra work babysitting for the owners. I had 4 children (1997, 1999, 2001, 2005 so now they are currently (2021) aged 24, 22, 20, 16). I looked after an extra child after school during his yr 9 school year for his single parent and also looked after a 2year old for weeks at a time during this same time period, because her mum had some minor mental health issues and it gave her a much needed break. While i havent worked in the child care industry recently, it won't be too hard to get back into the swing of things.
