I love kids and their quirky outlooks on life. I work at an after school care at Pacific Lutheran which varies in ages from prep- year 6. This jobs has given me lots of experience with children and caring for them in many environments.

| Hello, I’ve recently just moved to the Sunshine Coast from Canberra where I worked in before and after school care for a local school. I love working with children and have my ACT working with vulnerable people card and my New South Wales working with children check. I’m currently in the process of getting my QLD working with vulnerable people card. I’m currently studying a bachelor of midwifery. I’m a very active and reliable person who has worked in childcare for over 2 years now and would love some extra work while here studying. I have many skills from my work experience in before and after school care where we prepared meals and snacks for children as well as cleaning and doing basic chores for the centre such as dishes, washing, vacuuming, mopping, tidying and cleaning .

| I am married with 3 adult children and 2 grand children. I have worked in the Early Childhood Industry for over 20 years, it is a career I love. For 18 years I have worked in Community Kindergartens which I loved, however now that I have been working in a large centre for the last 3 years that also catered to After school Care I find I am wanting to return to a closer connection to families. One that has a more open ended day to educate and play and learn, explore and experience life with joy through a child's eyes. Without pressures of time restraints, staff problems, moving from room to room. My greatest joy in my job has always been the connections with the children and seeing them grow and develop and learn and have fun through play and imagination.
