Have worked as a pool lifeguard for 5 years, so have all First Aid, CPR, and Working with Childrens' Check qualifications, plus a lot of firsthand experience with administering first aid. I have worked casually in disability support and child care for the last 1.5 years, and have learned so much from both of those jobs. I've worked with children from ages 3-16 in childcare, as I worked in holiday care and after-school care programs. I worked mainly with adults in disability care, but I am very open and ready to work with children with disabilities also.
I live on campus at Macquarie University, and have a very flexible schedule, able to work into and over nights/early mornings. I studied a Bachelors' in Education in 2020, and am now studying a Double Bachelors' in Business and Social Science.
I grew up in a small country town, and I carry with me a childhood spent outdoors, of learning through experience, which I love to encourage in the children I work with.
