I always have gotten along with kids and enjoy working with/looking after them. I have a range of experience with kids. I completed an online early child care course as one of my Yr 11 subjects. When I was in Yr 11/12 I directed our Primary Schools Musical along side my drama teacher working with kids from Kindy to Yr 6. I would also teach our after school drama classes when our teacher was away or sick. I am a national grade umpire and a Ku Ring Gai Netball Association 'Smiley' buddy which means I work with younger umpires teaching them how to improve in there skills and supporting them in conflict as well as promoting them to their next level of umpiring. I was on the leadership team during high school as head of Performing Arts part of this commitment having meetings with yr 6 students going into high school, helping the teachers out with any special events and greeting the students as they got off the bus in the morning. I also have babysat for families around my area since i was 14 years old. I have joined care.com as I am saving up to go to a program I have been accepted to called 'Camp America' where you fly to the states and work with kids at summer camps for 9-12 weeks while also traveling.
