I received my Certificate III in Aged Care training in Auscare Training Organisation in 2023 (June -September) and completed my placement from Sunflower Care Services in October. My responsibilities included assisting participants in all areas of personal hygiene and dressing, assisting and accompanying residents during daily activities, assisting residents with their mobility, assisting with food preparation, providing general care, companionship, friendship and emotional support to participants, documenting services provided, incidents and/or accidents, time sheets and updating other records and participating in team meetings, reviews and quality improvement strategies.
Before training as a personal carer, I, myself is a caring and compassionate Bhutanese mother and a wife, raising our kid. I believe that my experience as a caring mother has provided me with incomparable training in caring for others (cleaning, feeding and bathing them), arranging and juggling social activities, shopping and running errands, working as part of a team, negotiating, and providing emotional support with patience and love.
I am a self-disciplined, highly proactive, great time manager and team player.
