Community Support Worker
|
I'm very passionate about caring for others, I've been a carer most of my life and
gained a lot of understanding and experience with all different types of people
and their lifestyles and cultures.
I was primary carer for my disabled son for fifteen years until his passing in
2006. My son, Martin, had numerous medical conditions, and I have gained
a lot of knowledge in including use of cpap, diet & diabetes, hypertension
and well as my role in providing Martin's personal care.
I completed a partial qualification in level III age care and partially
completed a course for Certificate III in Age & Community Care. As a
Community Support Worker I have experience in providing personal care,
transporting clients for errands and shopping, basic cleaning, meal prep
and other duties required in supporting individuals.I have a current
drivers licence, Working with Children and Vulnerable people, First Aid,
CPR and I'm a hard worker and a fast learner, working as part of a team or
unsupervised. I look forward to proving myself in an interview.
